Fish and seafood
On an island, fish is eaten simply: grilled, with a squeeze of lemon and a drizzle of olive oil.
Djerba is surrounded by the sea, and fish plays a big part in its cooking: grilled, in couscous or in a sauce. Whole sea bream is one of the fish visitors ask for most.
At Restaurant Sultana, the whole sea bream is grilled and served as a set with its sides, and the prawns are simply grilled. There is also seafood pasta, tuna brik and, on some days, fish couscous. The list below shows today's seafood dishes with their prices.
